Francisco Mery
Self taught painter and graphic designer, born in Santiago de Chile in 1961.
“My art is defined as sort of “3d realism”, that has the effect of creating an illusion in the observer´s eye, confronting him with the sensation of not having the certainty of knowing the reality of the perceived object, provoking on him the desire of touching the artwork.
My theme is the depiction of paper, with which I partially wrap paintings, letting to the spectator the discovery of its hidden mystery. “
